To help protect your skin and allow for the best treatment results, please avoid the following before your appointment:
Avoid strong chemical peels such as AHA, BHA, exfoliating acids, strong active ingredients, Retin-A, retinol, tretinoin, and prescription-strength exfoliating products for at least 1 week before your facial.
Avoid laser treatments, waxing, aggressive exfoliation, or other intensive skin procedures for at least 2 weeks before your facial.
If your skin is irritated, peeling, sunburned, or recently treated, please let Sunny know before your appointment so your facial can be adjusted safely.
No. You do not need to wash your face before your appointment.
Please arrive as you are. Cleansing is part of the facial process, and seeing your skin in its natural state can also help Sunny better understand your skin condition, oil production, congestion, dryness, sensitivity, and overall skin behavior.
Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment time and text Sunny to let her know that you have arrived.
Korean Skin Theory does not have a waiting room or lobby, so arriving too early may not be necessary. Arriving a few minutes early gives you time to settle in and allows your appointment to begin smoothly.
Please text as soon as possible if you are running late.
If you give notice, Sunny may allow up to 15 minutes late, depending on the schedule. However, arriving late may shorten your facial treatment time so the next client’s appointment is not affected.
If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may need to be canceled or rescheduled according to the cancellation policy.
Yes. Your consultation form must be completed before your appointment date. This helps me prepare for your treatment and ensure your facial is safe, appropriate, and properly customized for your skin.
If the form is not completed ahead of time, it will need to be filled out during your reserved appointment time, which may reduce your actual treatment time.
You can access the client intake form through the link provided in your appointment confirmation email. Please complete the form before your appointment date so I can review your skin history, current products, sensitivities, and treatment goals before your visit.
